Diets

Diets are always a controversial subject when it comes to sugar gliders, so we have compiled a list of links to diets that we highly recommend.  Always remember to feed these diets as they were written and if you have any questions at all about any of these diets please contact the creators of these diets.

Here at Newby's Glider Nook, we feed HPW Complete. There is also HPW Plus. As stated on their website:

HPW Plus™ is a simple powder. The powder itself is a 2:1 Ca:P ratio. It contains omega 6&3 fatty acides including flax seed oil, which has been proven over the years to be very beneficial to sugar gliders, and it gives off a sweet vanilla scent. With HPW Plus™, other ingredients are required to make the powder a complete staple diet for your sugar glider.

HPW Complete™ is an all-in-one powder. This powder also has a 2:1 Ca:P ratio, omega 6&3 fatty acids including flax seed oil, and gives off a sweet vanilla scent. With this product all that is necessary is to add water. This makes HPW Complete™ a simple solution for those who worry about the ratios, travel, evacuations, or emergency situations as one serving can be made at a time and the staple will be complete.

Another diet we fully support is BML, or Bourbon's Modified Leadbeater's Diet. It's the first diet we ever used with our gliders, and we had wonderful results with it. BML is made from ingredients you can get at your local grocery and pet stores.

We also trust the Priscilla Price Diet, which has offers variety unseen in most other diets.
